The Museums Vaticans
The origins of the Museums Vaticans go back to Pope Giulio II, lover of the ancient sculpture and the contemporary art, after to have been name Pope in 1503 it placed various works in the garden of the Lookout granting to artists and students to admire them. It was alone in the 1700's that came made other steps turns to the creation of a museum destined to accommodate the immense collection of commissioned, received ancient and modern works of art in gift or acquired from the several one papi. In Clement 1734 XII it founded the Museum Capitolino (accommodated in a building planned from Michelangelo); in 1756 and the 1767 they came created in Vatican two other small museums respective of sacred and profane art.
